After the opening of the first north-south 18 km tram line from the Fleury-les-Aubrais railway station to the Orleans la Source University Campus, a second 11.8 km line, CLEO, running east to west from La Chapelle Saint-Mesmin to Saint-Jean de Braye, will be brought into service in 2011.

The total renovation of the Orleans railway station improves conditions for visitors arriving in the city and gives a new look to this site which targets businesses.

Development of the banks of the Loire
Under the Loire Green Belt Project, each district within the Orleans Loire Valley Agglomeration will be able to appreciate the river and the natural areas around it by developing certain sites, finding new uses for the Loire, the Loiret and the canal, and implementing cultural, environmental, tourist and economic initiatives and activities.

Vélo’+ self-service bike hire system
Vélo’+ is a self-service bike hire system.
It offers a total of 300 bikes at 28 stations located an average of 300 metres apart, in Orleans, Fleury les Aubrais and Saint-Jean de Blanc.
