In the depths of new technologies

By the end of 2006, all of the towns within the urban area were equipped with the necessary facilities to receive broadband Internet access (2Mbits/second) via the Medialys network.

Over 2/3 of the business parks within the urban are linked to a fibre optic network, offering companies competitive very high-speed services. The other areas receive 2 Mbps bandwidth, either via ADSL or via Wi-Max radio-relay technology which makes it possible extend the network beyond the limits of the telephone exchanges.
